The Oak Tree Stained Glass was established
in 1989... OaktreeSG's presence on the web was established
in 2000 and designed to showcase the artistic works created
through the medium of "Art Glass". The artistic
endeavors have led us to forge a path by which students
and newcomers may gain ground and establish a foothold in
this wonderful craft. Over the past decade plus, The Oak
Tree Stained Glass Studio has strived to bring the beauty
of this grand and timeless art, to the community and beyond.
There is no other medium as seductive or captivating as
stained glass. This historic tradition, so rich in color,
so deep in texture, offers generations of lasting light
which will not diminish nor augment through the passing
of time.
It has been told that the mighty oak grows strong with its
many branches and over the years is revered as a symbol
of longevity. Just as strong oak barrels are used to age
fine wines, the hardwood oak frames enclosing art glass
window hangings complete the fermentation of glass and metal
to wood, materials that surround our lives for necessity
and comfort.
