| We will be reviewing two types of design software that are associated with our craft. Hopefully we can present an unbiased opinion on the use and functionality of each. Both programs have much to offer our craft and anyone from beginners to experts will find they have opened a new dimension with precision and color elements the Stained Glass Industry has desperately needed. |
| Our reviews will focus on the ease of use through the programs capabilities. As we follow along the design process we are faced with important relationships such as how we setup to import a drawing and or design/picture. From the actual drawing we are faced with the rendering or addition of color from the internal glass pallet. And for everyone at all levels the numbering routine and materials are extremely helpful and big time savers prior to fabrication. For commissions the price calculation is accurate and another marvelous tool in the quotation of costs to the customer. |
