Want an inexpensive and very useful helper that make foiling glass easy? Try the smooth roller tool. It’s made from a durable plastic and colored soft blue. Don’t let the sleek good looks and pretty color fool you. It has several uses among the most obvious which is to smooth out the foil onto art glass. The roller does a nice job of smoothing the foil by the way of the soft but durable plastic roller. The rollers’ handle also features a notch or v shaped groove used to fold over the foil on each side of the art glass. On textured glass where rolling the foil smooth may prove to be harder at times, this part of the tool will help out. You will still need to press the foil into the lower textured areas by means of a pointed object. The Smooth Roller has that covered as well. One end of the tool has been fashioned to a point for just this type of task. For a small investment this tool is well worth it.
